Transportation:
In Abidjan, taxis (metered or ride-hailing apps) and private drivers are the most practical. Travel between Abidjan, Grand-Bassam, and Assini is best by car (45–90 minutes depending on traffic). Organized transfers are common and reliable.

Local guides are recommended for Grand-Bassam’s historic quarter and cultural sites. Private city tours in Abidjan offer insight into neighborhoods like Plateau, Cocody, and Treichville.
