  • Los Angeles – Trip Overview & Planning Guide

    A. Trip Overview

Los Angeles is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable 10–15 day West Coast journey. The city delivers the glamour of Hollywood, iconic beaches along the Pacific, and access to the legendary Pacific Coast Highway. From LA, travelers can continue north to the dramatic cliffs of Big Sur and the cultural richness of San Francisco, creating a seamless blend of entertainment, coastal scenery, and history.

    B. Duration & Flexibility

    • 10 Days: Ideal for a fast-paced exploration covering Los Angeles highlights, a scenic Highway 1 drive, and San Francisco.

    • 15 Days: Allows a more relaxed itinerary with time to include national parks such as Yosemite National Park or an exciting extension to Las Vegas.

    C. Mode of Transport

A rental car is essential, particularly for driving the Pacific Coast Highway. While Los Angeles offers public transportation, it is car-dependent for efficient sightseeing.
Note: Traffic congestion in Los Angeles and San Francisco can be significant, and parking fees should be factored into your budget.

    D. Key Planning Notes

    • Highway 1 Conditions: Always verify road conditions before departure, particularly near Big Sur, where landslides may cause closures or detours.

    • National Park Reservations: Parks such as Yosemite often require timed-entry reservations during peak seasons. Secure bookings well in advance.
